The Smiley-scheme of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration

Companies trading with materials and items intended to come into contact with foodstuffs are obliged to make public the inspection report of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration on their web sites. The report is to be easily accessible.

After each visit the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration issues an inspection report. GTS was granted an elite status, and the report in Danish states that no remarks ("ingen anmærkninger") were made in the last four visits. See the latest report by clicking on the icon below.

GTS is marketing wooden cutting boards in cooperation with large, well-reputed Danish companies well known for their design and quality. Naturally, cutting boards will come into contact with foodstuffs and therefore these products will be frequently inspected by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration.

The inspection includes the traceability of food contact items and materials from GTS to customers as well as background documentation in terms of test reports for adhesives and oils to be used for wooden products with foodstuffs contact.
